My current collaborations on Virtual Reality include the following projects:
Moving in VR with Mark Schram Christensen (funded by the Independent Research Fund Denmark, UCPH, and the Danish Pioneer Center for AI) is a project of combining neuroscience and VR to study motor learning in neuroscience and developing interaction techniques in VR.
TOUCHLESS is an European Innovation Council's project on creating touchless interaction techniques and understanding how to create haptic stimuli with innovative technologies to induce novel sensations and experiences. In this project we collaborate with Asier Marzo (Public University of Navarra, Spain), Sriram Subramanian (UCL), Marianna Obrist (UCL), and Patrick Haggard (UCL), and their teams.
360 MedQuest with Tobias Todsen is a project of using VR in medical education, such as training students in the stressfull environment of emergency rooms.
VIRTU is a research group at UCPH lead by Louise Birkedahl Glenthøj, where we study using VR in psychiatry, in particular exposure therapy. See for instance about avatar therapy for patients with auditory hallucinations here.
